Pastors and Bomme ba merapelo around limpopo province were on saturday recognized and appreciated by Sekgosese Community Radio [Seco FM] for successfully contributing in their religious programmes.

The ceremony was staged at The Look Community Hall at Soetfontein village where Seco fm is stationed [outside Modjadjiskloof].

According to one of the organizers, Sylvester Ramolefo (42) who is also a religious show presenter, about 20 pastors and 16 Bomme ba merapelo received certificates for successfully participating in the religious programmes of seco fm.

"We are a God fearing station that's we open our station with a sermon every morning from 06:00-06:15. Different pastors and bomme ba merapelo from different churches are given enough time slots on sundays and thursdays to spread the word of God through our radio", he concluded.

Some of the pastors who received certificates of recognition are from, Bungeni, Tzaneen, Polokwane, Roterdam and Sekgosese.

Pastor [Moyahabo] Mohale (54) on behalf of Pastors and Bomme ba merapelo said the certificates they had received will enable them to be formally recognized as pastors by various stake-holders.

"We are greateful to Seco fm because it is now easier to spread the word of God across people of Limpopo without going places", he added.

Tiny Masutha (34) who accompanied the pastors and Bomme ba merapelo to the ceremony said she is now motivated to become a pastor in the near future. She also said, people are now turning in to christians because seco fm promotes the word of God.

"We would like to thank Sewatumong Micro Lending for sponsoring this ceremony", said Seco fm's Programmes manager, Masilo Rabothata.
